Originally from North America, the Seaside Daisy is now firmly established along the south coast of England and occasionally in Wales. It prefers rocks or walls but can also be found on sand dunes. The petals can be white, purple or any shade in between. Also known as Beach Aster, Sea Breeze or Glaucous-leaved Fleabane. It is a low plant, growing to 8 or 9 inches high with lanceolate leaves.
