Sea Spurge is a common plant of sand dunes, flowering from June to August. The flowers are yellow-green in colour, and not conspicuous. As with all spurges, the stems when broken yield a milky sap which is highly irritant to skin and eyes. The leaves are oval and greyish-green in colour. Height up to 20 inches.
