Common Cord Grass is a hybrid plant usually found on coastal mud and salt-marshes - sometimes planted. It can reach about 18 inches in height and the yellowish flowers can be seen from July until September. The grey-green leaves clasp the stem, and end in a point. Common in coastal areas of Wales and England.
