Greencliff Beach is a beach of a storm bank of mudstone pebbles and low-tide rocks and rockpools, near to the village of Abbotsham. Roadside parking for about 12 vehicles can be found on the lane at Grid Reference : SS411267. From the junction, a public footpath leads to the coastal path where you turn right for a few yards, then left onto a steep, salebrous path leading down to the beach. Alternatively follow the coastal path westwards for about 300 yards to a semi-circular bench, in front of which is another steep rugged path down to the shore. Note that the lanes are extremely narrow and (as of 2026) so full of potholes that should you meet any joggers, they'll probably be moving faster than you're driving.
