Clovelly is a privately-owned village with a small sandy harbour, but a rocky shore in both directions either side. Non-resident cars are not allowed in the village, and a large car park and visitor centre is located above the village, from where visitors need to pay an admission fee (£10.90 in 2026) to walk down through the steep cobbled street of the village. Arriving via the coastal path can avoid these fees! Facilities include a pub, various small shops and toilets.
