Peppercombe is a beach of mudstone shingle and low-tide rocks and rockpools. Access is a walk of about a mile down a track signposted from Horns Cross village to a small building which serves as an information centre and has a footpath map, drinking water and two picnic tables. From here, a steep path continues down to the beach. The best place for parking is at a layby on the south side of the A39 just east of the Horns Cross village sign.
