Hollicombe is a beach of coarse reddish sand, about 400 yards wide, between red sandstone headlands. It's backed by sea defences of huge granite boulders. Behind this is the Torquay - Paignton railway, and Hollicombe Park. Access is along a short path with steep steps from the coastal path. Dogs are not allowed from 1st May until 30th September.
