At the former Rosebush slate quarry is a small quarry lake, not much bigger than a swimming pool, but nevertheless popular with local children on hot days. The village has a small car park and there's also a small layby on the B4313 on the southern approach. A small lane leads to a bridleway to the quarries, and the quarry lake is easy to find. There are also some deep, unfenced quarries here, and nearby another bridle path leads up Foel Cwmcerwyn - the highest point in Pembrokeshire.
