The former North Dock is approximately 1000 feet long and just about 100 yards east of Llanelli's beach. It's a popular location for water-sports. A weathered sign states swimming is not allowed, but in hot weather few people take any notice. P&D parking is available on the west side, where there are some facilities. Unfortunately, this location can be affected by algae blooms in summer.
