Keepers Pond

Lying at a height of 1570 feet alongside the B4246 north of Bleanavon, Keeper's Pond (also known as Pen-ffordd-goch Pond) is a small pond of slightly muddy water formerly used as a reservoir for the Garnddyrys Forge. A small free car park is located next to it, and a path (slightly boggy on the east side) leads around it. Other parking can easily be found nearby. Swimming is allowed, but due to its clarity, putting your face in the water is not recommended. In late summer, there should be plenty of bilberries here.
