Worbarrow Bay is located within the MoD's Lulworth range, and access is restricted - usually to weekends and school holidays. Bordered at the eastern end by the promontory of Worbarrow Tout, the shore is mostly shingle and some coarse sand, backed by chalk cliffs. When the ranges are open to the public, parking (honesty box) and toilets can be found at Tyneham village (Grid Ref : SY881804 / Lat : 50.62318°N, Lon : 2.16598°W / Postcode BH20 5QF). Beach access is then a walk of about 1500 yards along a good track. Picnic tables are located at the car park and also alongside the track to the beach. Dogs are allowed at all times.
