Egmont Bight has a narrow shoreline and is about 500 yards wide. It's backed by unstable ciffs of Kimmeridge clay and rockfalls are common. It can be reached at most stages of the tide by walking around from Chapman's Pool. The nearest parking is as for Chapman's Pool, at Grid ref : SY964773 (Lat : 50.9541°N, Lon : 2.0522°W).
