The former Winspit quarries lie about a mile south of the village of Worth Matravers, and access is along a good public footpath with a descent of just over 400 feet. The shore is of rocks and is good for sunbathing and snorkelling. Parking (honesty box) and toilets can be found at Worth Matravers (Grid Ref : SY974776 / Lat : 50.5981°N, Lon : 2.0381°W). The village also has a pub / restaurant - the Square and Compass.
