Newton's Cove lies just east of Weymouth harbour and within walking distance of the town. The shore is mostly shingle backed by a promenade, and access is down steps. It can be reached by turning off the Portland Road into Rodwell Avenue. Very much a 'locals' beach, it's quite popular for sea swimming. Parking nearby is difficult.
