Church Ope cove is a small beach below Easton on the eastern side of the Isle of Portland. The shore consists of limestone rocks and pebbles, and some low tide sand, backed by beach huts. There are (seasonal) toilets here, and drinking water is available. There can be strong currents all around Portland so swimming is not advisable at this beach. Dogs are allowed at all times. Roadside parking can easily be found at Easton, from where access to the shore is along Church Ope Road, which leads to an asphalt path with short flights of steps every few yards.
