Durley Chine is to the west of Bouremouth Pier, and is a sandy beach with groynes at regular intervals and backed by the promenade. P&D parking can be found on Durley Chine behind the beach. Lifeguards patrol this beach from early June until the end of August. There are dog restrictions on part of the beach to the east of the chine, but dogs are allowed on part of the beach. Facilities include toilets, showers, drinking water, a restaurant and cycle parking.
