Shaldon Beach

Shaldon Beach borders the Teign estuary and has a long beach of course gravelly sand which slopes steeply towards the river. Facilities include a cafe with outdoor seating, The Ness pub and a large lawned area with picnic tables oberlooking the estuary and a ferry service across it. A large P&D car park can be found at the southern end of Marine Parade. Dogs are not allowed on the main part of the beach from 1st April until 30th September.
