Ness cove is a ½ mile long beach of reddish sand backed by unstable towering cliffs of red sandstone. It is reached by a 200 yard long tunnel with some steps known as Smugglers' Tunnel. Parking, toilets and an information centre are located on Marine Drive at the entrance to the tunnel.
