From the main A379, Smugglers' Lane leads down to the Salty Dog cafe and beach shop, from where a path continues under the railway and onto the beach. There is roadside parking for about 6 cars here. The beach is backed by the railway and a walkway to Teignmouth. Dogs are allowed at all times.
