Llyn Du bâch is a small, shallow lake divided into two by a stone causeway. It lies just a 30 minute walk from Llyn y Manod and above the old workings of the Maenofferen quarries. Public footpaths lead to the quarries from either Blaenau Ffestiniog or from Llyn y Manod.
