These two lakes were formerly reservoirs, serving the New Rhosydd slate quarries, and can be found by following the stream from the extensive ruins at New Rhosydd northwards. At over 1700 feet above sea level, Llyn Cwm corsiog is the larger and shallower of the two. Llyn Clogwyn brith is the deeper and probably the best choice for a dip if you've trekked up this far.
