Osmington beach lies at the end of a lane (signposted 'Osmington Mills') from the A353 at Osmington, and is a beach of rocks and some sand. A private P&D car park, toilets and a pub (The Smugglers Inn) are at the end of the lane. Roadside parking on the lane is also possible. The original path to the beach has been lost to subsidence and erosion. To reach the shore, follow the signposted path down to the Smugglers Inn, and after crossing the stream turn left around the side of the pub and into a field. Turn right to a steep salebrous path down to the shore.
