Hope's Nose is a promomtory east of Torquay reached by a steep path from Ilsham Marine Drive. Roadside parking can be found here, and the path is well used. The final descent to the shore will involve a little scambling. It's a popular spot for fishing, and also for barbecues - as is evident from the litter left behind by those who don't clear up after themselves. The remains of a quarry lie just behind, and Hope Cove is about 50 yards away.
