Llangwm is a small village on the western bank of the Daugleddau river, built around the inlet of Llangwm Pill. As with most of the Cleddau rivers, there are good paths along the shore just above the high water mark and plenty of wildfowl on the water. Just to the north-east is Blacktar Point which has a parking area with picnic tables and a slipway into the river. Although slightly away from the main tourist haunts, it is worth a visit and there are plenty of well-maintained public footpaths to explore.
