Lake Pier Beach

Lake Pier beach lies on the north-eastern side of Poole Harbour, and is mostly shingle with a little sand and backed by the nature reserve of Ham Common. There's a good-size P&D car park with toilets and cycle parking. Dogs are allowed at all times. It's generally safe for swimming, and the water will usually be considerably warmer than the open sea.
