Broadsands Beach is a small cove of grey gravelly sand on the North Devon Coast, with the tidal islet of Outer Stone towards the east side. Some roadside parking is available on Barton Hill (lane) off the A399 west of Combe Martin (Grid Ref : SS562478), however spaces here are likely to be taken quickly at peak times. From here, beach access is along Old Coast Road in a westerly direction, thence taking a very steep path with approximately 240 steps down to the shore. Dogs are allowed at all times, and swimming is generally safe.
