Wild Pear Beach

Although it doesn't look far on a map, Wild Pear beach lies a long walk away from Combe Martin along the coast path. The zig-zag path down leaves the coast path at the back of the beach, and is very steep with a scramble down loose and often muddy scree at the bottom - there is usually a rope here to hold onto. The shore consists of coarse grey sand and small pebbles. Being rather isolated and difficult to reach, it is popular with local naturists.

Watch out for adders on the path down!
