Bladder Wrack

Bladder Wrack is a very common seaweed of mid-shore, growing two to three feet long. The fronds have a prominant midrib with small baldders, usually arranged in pairs on either side of the frond (Egg wrack has a single, larger bladder). These help it to stay upright in the sea to obtain maximum sunlight.
