Croyde Bay

Croyde is a sandy bay about ½ mile wide, backed by dunes with rocks and rockpools to either side. Facilites include toilets ♿, some small cafes and car parks, surf hire and tuition. Access is down a short slipway. It's a popular surfing beach, with the best conditions beginning about 2 hours after low tide. RNLI lifeguards patrol early May until late September, and also during the Autumn half-term holidays. Dogs are not allowed from 1st May until 30th September. The beach looks out towards Lundy Island - about 18 miles offshore.
