Llyn Mair is a small lake alongside the B4410 near Penrhyndeudraeth. A small free parking area for about 10 cars is on the opposite side, as well as some roadside parking. A lawned area with seating overlooks the lake. The Ffestiniog Railway's Tan-y-Bwlch station is a five minute walk away.
