Llyn-y-Gadair

These two oligotrophic lakes lie aside the Foxes' Path up the northern side of Cadair Idris. Llyn Gafr is the lower of the two, at a height of about 410 metres, and Llyn y Gadair (above) is at a height of about 560 metres. Both have a small beach area, and needless to say, both can be very cold.
